History of Yumeiho®
The special massage procedures and techniques and other manual therapeutic applications in Yumeiho® are derived from traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine elements, such as the ancient Zheng Fa Ti practice (manual therapeutic applications used within the famous Shaolin Temple). Some of these therapeutic methods were brought to Japan in 1948 by the Japanese Master SHUICHI OHNO HIDEGATSU.
Dr. Masayuki SAIONJI, disciple of master OHNO, had studied for over 20 years various traditional therapeutic practices originated in the Far East. As a consequence of their systematization and improvement, he conceived the YUMEIHO® THERAPY (the full name being KOTSUBAN YUMEIHO® TAISO or YUMEIHO®-DO).
Master Dr. Saionji Masayuki is considered the founder of the Yumeiho therapy.
The YUMEIHO® THERAPY is spread worldwide under the patronage of the INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF PRACTICAL PREVENTIVE MEDICINE in TOKYO – JAPAN.
The YUMEIHO® THERAPY is practiced in over 30 countries in various medical centers, private offices, clinics, recovery centers or medical research institutions within which the clinic experience and the investigations conducted by scientific methods have proven the complexity and multitude of the beneficial effects of this therapy.
