Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1How many sessions are necessary in order to result in noticeable curative effects?
The curative effects can occur from the first sessions, but the alleviation and the normalization of the patient’s state may require multiple sessions. Their number depends on the patient’s body reactivity to the applied therapy.
2How long does a Yumeiho therapy session takes?
The duration of a session can vary between 5 and 180 minutes.
3What is the interval between the Yumeiho therapy sessions?
The frequency of the sessions is established taking into account the particularities of each and every case. Generally speaking, the patient must attend one daily treatment session. Patients with severe illnesses or the strong ones can attend up to even two treatment sessions a day. Patients who don’t have time can attend the treatment once every two days or at least once a week. For prophylactic applications of the Yumeiho therapy, a complete sessions once a month or once every two months is enough.
4I’ve noticed the Yumiho therapy comprises osteoarticular manipulation elements. If I were to participate to an introductory course, will I learn how to proceed?
The osteoarticular manipulations will be carried out only by the competent practitioners and, respectively, by the ones who have successfully graduated the introductory and refresher courses on the Yumeiho therapy up to and including the 3rd degree. The 1st degree practitioners will in no case carry out manipulation procedures. The 2nd degree practitioners will be able to practice manipulations (only part of them and only under certain circumstances, without taking any risks) to didactic purposes and only on clinically healthy people, upon the indications and under the supervision of the authorized instructor (entitled to teach the manipulation techniques).
5In case the pains have disappeared after several sessions, does this mean I’m healed?
The disappearance of the pains is not indicative of the disappearance of the cause of your problems. It is important to note that the treatment must not be interrupted due to the disappearance of the symptoms. Instead, it must be carried to the extent that the state of the patient normalizes. It is only this way that the relapse of the disease or the onset of another serious disease can be prevented.
6An acquaintance of mine went to a Yumeiho therapy session, but they stopped going because of the pains they felt the day after. Is it normal for this to happen?
Sometimes, the patient’s state can worsen in the course of the application of the Yumeiho therapy; even additional symptoms may occur. This phenomenon is most of the times owed to the organism’s reactions which are generated as a result of the correction of the position of the center of gravity and, respectively, of the biomechanical and physiological readjustment of the entire organism. Other potential causes we can list are as follows:
- mobilization of toxins from tissues, as a result of the applied massage procedures, which generates an overstress of the hepatic-renal functions in view of eliminating them. The patients complain about tiredness subsequently to the application of the therapy, about nausea, sometimes cephalalgia, and so on. The symptoms disappear in several hours, provided that the patient is properly hydrated.
- the manipulation, the massage or the mere mobilization of certain muscular and articular structures (ligaments) with reduced or no elasticity. The setting in motion of a joint, within normal physiological limits, provided that it was not used properly by the patient for a long time, can generate local or regional pains. This is due to the stress applied on the ligaments, tendons and muscles which service the joint, a stress which exceeds the usual limits. The symptoms disappear after the application of 2 or 3 sessions at most.
Such reactions are even more obvious and more frequent in patients with serious problems or who exhibit a high sensitivity (reactivity) to certain procedures. In the case of patients who benefit from a short intermittent treatment, the resulted reactions are insignificant or they don’t even occur. There are reactions in the case of healthy people. they disappear gradually in the course of treatment. Generally speaking, they occur 2 or 3 times in people who benefit from a range of about 20 sessions. Beyond this limit, the aggravation occurs only occasionally (extremely rarely). Such reactions are indicative of a fine curative efficiency, an enhanced reactivity of the body to the applied curative procedures. In conclusion, we speak of a close healing (alleviation).
7After learning about Yumeiho, I found out the health problems can be noticed through a simple visual diagnosis. Is this true?
Indeed, certain affections can be spotted visually, on the level of the entire body (facial signs, unequal height on the shoulder level, the apparent length of arms and legs, body movements, etc).
8How do I choose my Yumeiho therapist?
In order to make sure you are provided with a Yumeiho therapy applied by a specialized person, refer to the list of Yumeiho therapists you can find on the website.
9Can I learn the therapy in order to apply it on the members of my family?
Anyone can learn the basic technique in order to apply it on the members of their family to prophylactic purposes, in particular due to the fact the participation to an introductory course on the Yumeiho therapy is conditioned by no previous specialty training! In order to be able to proceed with the therapy in case of disorders, one must participate to refresher courses.
